    My 3.2 has the OEM 16 inch rather than metric wheels which I think yours has, but I presume the total tire height of either is the same.

    The front wheel "gap" is a bit greater than the rear, about 85mm from lip to tire top, verses 65mm in the rear.

    Good point. My front trunk is empty. I may need to carry some bricks up there.

    Do you mean you have no spare tire at all there presently? I have definitely seen the front end on these a bit higher without the weight of the spare.

    Yes, it is completely empty. My car came with 4 metric wheels, not 5. I have 4 spare mediocre looking non-oem, non-metric wheels. Will toss one in there. Tool kit and jack too.

    A previous owner installed 348 wheels on my '85 QV Cab, and also included a 348 wheel in the spare compartment. Have the original metric wheels as well, although I doubt I'd ever use them. Yes, also add the tool kit and jack, and give it a day or two for the springs to settle after some driving and your front ride height should be improved (lower).
