Just had my clutch plate replaced at a Ferrari garage as they advised the housing/cover would be ok to reuse. When the car went into the garage the clutch was only just slipping, low speed change ups from 4 to 5 gear at about 40 mph and hitting the gas showed it up, also there was no noise whine or clanking whatsoever.

I now have the car back from the garage and there is no clutch slip, so that problem is resolved.

What the car does have now though is whine/clanking noise from the rear, when you press the clutch pedal it goes away.

Is this a wrongly adjusted clutch cable if it has one, or some thing else, I cannot believe it is a lack of oil as they replaced this as it was on the bill for the clutch replacement.

    Anybody have any ideas.

    Thanks

You should take it back, obviously. It could be a few different things from a throwout bearing problem to just having the hydraulic assrmbly (Mondial clutches are hydraulic) loose and banging around. Hopefully will be something simple.
