I need to either have my shocks rebuilt on my 88 3.2, or get new. Ive spent an hour or so looking for shops that might rebuild shocks but I've found nothing for my car. It seems 308's, & Mondial 8 & T, are the only versions that need shocks. Any help is much appreciated.

According to the parts list all Mondials, except the t, use the same shocks for the rear. On the front they're mostly the same however, I'm puzzled by the fact that one is unique to the 3.2 U.S. Cabs (and only costs $41.91?).

Check out this thread, sounds like it may help: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=341091&highlight=3.2+shocks

Seems like new rear shock absorbers = $284.07, but fronts are $41, that does not sound right, typo? Call and ask Ricambi.
Worst case, flea bay, but make sure its correct part number for front or rear: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-Mondial-3-2-288-Rear-Shock-Absorber-114335-/120749068964?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c1d3492a4&vxp=mtr#ht_500wt_922

Thanks, I missed this section last night there is not a suspension section. I see where part 114335 is $346.94 am I looking at wrong part? Does anyone know if there are aftermarket more sporting / track day options? I live in the socialist republic of high taxes and bad roads would a stiffer spring / shock keep me from bottoming out? Also I suppose rebuilding/ tuning my current OEM shock is not possible.

I've got aftermarket suspension on my '88 3.2, I think it's an adjustable perch Koni setup from Carobu. My car sits lower than the stock Mondial.

How does your car handle ?
Was change worth the cost? I'm Leary about lowering it seems as low as it can be where I drive. But would be interested in improving handling at same height, not that its bad now but I'm not against using the latest technology

I like it a lot compared to the stock setup, plus the lower stance looks awesome IMO.

I can't comment on the setup cost, since I purchased my car with this suspension already on there.

Ride height is fine. This car is my daily driver in the city, and I'll bet our roads are at least as crappy as yours.

No, I didn't buy from Koni. As I said, the car came with the Carobu setup already on it.

Thanks Dizengoff, I thought Carobu was a koni shock model name (yes I have a lot to learn). Thanks again
