Gates holds the license to the profile for the hob cutters. I payed a engineering fee to gain access to gates supplier for the hob stock. Any engineer can do so once registered with gates, at least that was a decade ago when I did it. Bottom line, the pulleys I made meet gates spec as they started from gates licensed hob stock. It also helps mitigate liability.

Me too! I have a full roller 347 in a 67 mustang. Looks like a stock K code complete with manifolds :)

so you are doing an euro version without the airpump...:) still stockish in my book

i think u need to do up an pantera motor on day since u know fords too... ha

jenvey has some weber looking heritage efi throttle bodies. i ran into a fellow from ontario a couple weeks ago that has the first set in north america. the injectors and wiring are hidden under the float bowl cap.

unfortunately they were dcoe instead of dcnfs. if they do offer a dcnf style in future, i can see you building a stealth carb looking efi 2v one day.

ive been anti-milled, braided, colored silicone, powdercoat look etc for a long while now since we built an entire formula car out of 5 axis and autoclave 23 yrs ago.

keep these great projects coming !

Yes, Newman's threads are among my favorites. They never disappoint, to say the least.

Jenvey and Borla both make a DCNF style EFI throttle body

yes there are many companies that offer tb's that fit on dcnf manifolds for decades now but not one that replicates the look of the carb itself. here is what the heritage jenvy dcoe looks like. its modeled after the weber carbs.

it will be a challenge to hide the injectors and fuel rail into the dcnf type body package, its bore spacing is tighter and body is tighter than the dcoe.

I totally know what you’re talking about now. They are cool. I think I heard the head of GTO engineering talking about fitting these on some old cars and making them indistinguishable.

Off topic I know.....I can take more pics but here's the engine right after I put it in, I guess I should've painted the heads blue but they looked too pretty.

My shovelhead project with part of the mustang behind it. Im making the bike body from scratch out of aluminum.

The mustang was a walk in the park, a weekend here a weekend there and done. The bike stuff I find relaxing, takes my mind off the car biz and Ill wander out into the garage the odd evening and play with the english wheel with a glass of wine nearby.
