3.85 seconds to 195 mph

The Pro-Mods are running again tonight at Kennedale. Two weeks ago they ran a best of 3.85 et at 195 mph. Tonight promises to be better with the thick air boosting the horsepower. If they can get it to the ground.........Qualifications start at 7pm, first round of eliminations at 9pm. $15 for pit walk-in. Good evenings entertainment at a reasonable price.

If you go look for R&H Well Service, Gene Hector '63 Vette. My buddy does the tranny work and previously built the top fuel engines for Eddie Hill. Called the Small Block Mafia because it actually runs a small block while everyone else is running close to 700 cubic inches or more. Two weeks ago qualified at 4.02 e.t, 185 mph and broke the rear end in the first round due to tire shake.

This years car produces about 2500 hp on racing gasoline compared to 2000 hp in last years car. Ran a best of 3.95/185 last year. Qualified in the new car at the last meet at 4.02, shutting off before the finish line due to tire shake. They expect 3.70"s by mid season.
