3 leads on factory battery conditioner

    The factory fitted CTEK ( badged Ferrari ) battery conditioner on my 430 has 3 leads but the same unit dealer fitted on my previos 430 only had 2 . I assume the third lead controls the dash diplay as it did not show when connected on old 430 . The new unit is giving trouble ( relay clicking and not going to full charge light ) want to replace it but replacement unit has only 2 leads anyone know how to wire in third lead?
