A lot of cars fir sale relatively speaking in a short period, lets see if the market can sustain. I guess good prices brings machines out the woodwork,
...yes but does it bring GOOD machines out of the woodwork..... like newman's tagline, a boxer is like a box of chocolates....
Agreed if not all 4 and the carb'd 512 has injected wheels! Ive seen two carb cars this week with injected wheels.
Haven't seen two with the same needs and they all have surprises. I have 7 boxers here now, only 2 are injected.
i am glad i have 3 sets of wheels for mine - the originals with original tires, including air from maranello - a set off a daytona that look the same but are wider and take a normal size balloon tire - and a set of image wheels that look the same as originals, but are 17'' and wide, and take normal sticky rubber.
Wasnt it just this summer past that a Blk boxer sold same day at above list.. at Autosport. This one is nice with 5 K on speedo and Wow , 485 HP 1981 Ferrari 512BB Berlinetta Boixer for sale | Hemmings Motor News
This one is at Autosport also. 485 HP at the wheels? I like to see the dyno as that would be hard to achieve with out turbos...
I was told today that the black car at Autosport was sold as part of a multi-car trade or deal I believe... My guess is the 485HP number was a mistake by someone...
I am trying to find pics of a Boxer in this colour, as it was my delivery colour and aI am considering a swap back from red.
Here is one with 470 hp and 399 ft-lbs of torque. Carobu Engineering did the work. It's a beast of a drive. BB512 Carb 1
Don't think it's a mistake as the description talks about BBLM pistons were used during the rebuild etc...
At $301,000 the price seems unremarkable, but at 263,200 Euro the price is in line with the increases seen this year in the US. The Euro is trading at an all time low of 1.14 USD. Just last fall it was trading at 1.3 USD. At the fall exchange rate the car would have been priced around $350,000. Faced with the falling Euro and rising Boxer prices the price realized is not out of line.
The 78 512 BB crossed the line at 333,760 Euro including buyer's premium, that is about $380,486 USD.
