I’m in the process of disassembling my Speedline 3 pc. wheels. The first two came apart OK, one had blue loktite the other a trace of red, the second one came apart a little harder. Now on to the problem, the last two I can’t even budge a nut loose, red loktite had to of been used in quantity on these. How do I heat the nuts ( 30 ea. wheel ) without damage to the wheels?

Have you tried using a hammer to strike the socket of the nut when in position? Failing that i've used a pneumatic rattle gun to remove tight nuts/bolts ;)

Just talked to Loktite tech, if red locker was used the only way to break the bond is heat 350/450f. I will try the shock method, do not what to force them too much until I have a replacement bolts in hand

If anyone has to do this nasty job, a heat gun worked. Took over an hour to remove 30 bolts on one wheel.

Still one wheel left to do
