My 360 wheels are constantly fading, picking up brake dust and contaminants.
I searched the forum and found a neat little brush for cleaning but would like to know more.
Are my 3-piece wheels chrome, or polished aluminum? Are they best cleaned by hand or
with a polisher? Does waxing help keep the brake dust off?

USe P21S works on all types of wheels. Get the heavy duty Gel P21S.. Be sure to rinse well. Also after cleaning wax the wheels for protection

Hey Marty! How are you? The brake dust issue is unavoidable, but putting a sealer on the wheels after thorough cleaning will make them easier to clean subsequently.
Wax will not last very long at all. I got a new set of wheels and before I mounted them, I applied several coats of Klasse Sealant Glaze. They clean up very easily now. To maintain I have mixed a 5:1 dilution of the Klasse and spray it on a microfiber towel and apply it to each wheel after cleaning. They have stayed slick and easy to maintain.
Thee is also a specific long lasting sealer that creates a hard shell and the info is somewhere in the detailing forum.

Looks like a polished aluminum lip to me. I didn't know about the gel 21PS, that might be worth trying out.

Awesome! Great tips. Thanks for sharing.

Spiro, I can't wait to see your 430. Thought of you just last week when I took another car to Skokie Lagoons for some pics. Let's get together soon for a drive.
