    I had a sp30 in December before I purchased my California , I now have 3 points on my license, my question is has anyone on here had points in the past and how does it effect your insurance

    For the benefit of others this is the UK system - I am happy to be corrected but I think they only need declaring at renewal and even then make little difference ( because so many are now caught) - try not to get another for four years is the best advice in insurance terms
