    1: Is the black Tail panel on the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta only on the F1 version? Can I get that on the 6 speed stick version? I prefer the Black, it gives the car character and I like the stick not the paddle... can anything be done here?

    2: Is the F355 faster/handle better than the Testarossa V12?


    3: If I love the F355 so much in looks... can a V12 be put in it and beef up the brakes/suspension etc to handle better than it already does to be more like a supercar?

    Im used to having muscle cars so u can cut/chop etc and make the car a real race car... so since I love the body of the F355 can I do the same thing, make it handle like a super car...(modify it) or not? This way insteafd of having a muscle car that handles I got a F355 that handles seriously well

    if you do your homework you will find where the 355 is faster on the track than a testarossa...and if you ever drive a 355 i think your passion for the muscle car will be satisified, as the 355 is crazy fast and can handle all you can dish out and then some

    I been searching for last 30 min in regards to F355 with V12 engine and cant find a thing...

    Help please? I dont know how to use th search thing propperly looks like.

    Can you heklp me with the homework on where its faster than the Testarossa? (i assume it is... but what exactly are you meaning? and are you saying with a v12 it wouldnt be as good or it can really rip with a v12?)

    NEVERMIND - I just saw the link u posted... I must be tired.

    Around Fiorano, driven by a factory driver, the F355 was the first V8 that was faster than the then current V12.

    The black pannel with the holes in it is the challenge rear grille.

    Back in 1995 the F355 was actually considered a supercar--if marginally. Adding the weight of the Testarossa engine/driveline would not make it handle any better; nor would it be an easy transplant.

    The F355 is almost a real race car, lacking is roll cage and suplanted with luxury items {leather carpeting} to make it domestic transportation. Its one of the few cars ever developed under the theme of mass-centralization (from the F1 and IndyCar 1980 era just before aerodynamics took over completely.) That is why the radiators are also amidship--aqnd conversely why Ferrari moved them back up front with the 360--the F355 could turn too fast for the drivers (of the day) and get out of control.

    If you want to drive on the hwy at top speed, the TR is the car for you. Any other driving, the 355 is faster and way easier to live with.

    TR engine does fit in the 355. Not a fan of those wide arches. The suspension components can be modified to push them in as I am doing on my Alfa GTV6/355 project. It is a bit of work to do but the ending resault is that you will have the fine lines of the 355 but the flat 12 of the TR.

    Let me know when you decide to make a move on it and I will help you out.
    Will post some more of the GTV6/355 conversion after this weekend. Currently working on right rear suspension and axle shortening.
