I'm guessing this is build to use @ Ferrariworld/Yas Marina? http://www.autoblog.com/2010/08/09/spy-shots-three-seat-ferrari-f1-car-testing-at-fiorano/
There cars were apparently paid for by Marlboro and are used as a promotion tool for their visitors. I saw 3 of them on a recent factory visit.
Pretty cool. I was on the GPtours package in Montreal this year and Rubens was the guest on Friday night. He told the story of taking both his Father and Grandfather out in the 3 seater while he was at Ferrari. He said it was an amazing experience. He said he was worried about them (especially his Granfather), but his Grandfather told him to - well, whatever the portegeuse word for "punch it" is.......
They should put it in the races with Alonso behind the wheel and Massa in one of the seats. That way Massa would not always lose so many positions, and he would understand once and for all he is only the number 2.
Plus he could learn the fast way around the track and then get back in his own car and actually go fast. LMAO!
I rode in a two-seater F1-style car at Knockhill Racing Circuit in Scotland (link, and click on image 3). Not quite the same thing, but it was a pretty good thrill. All the best, Andrew.
I'd think this will find its way to Dubai for those with E-tickets at Ferrari-world. That's a beautiful circuit. I know I'd pay for an F1 ride-along!
