    I have an unusual window switch issue concerning the passenger window switch. The passenger window goes up and down using the driver side switch. The passenger side switch does not operate the window. HOWEVER, when using the driver side passenger window switch to operate the window AND someone presses the passenger side switch (either up or down), the window stops. Unfortunately, I do not have a wiring diagram showing 3 windows switches. Comments?

    Has it always been that way, or was it result of something someone just did?

    I just purchased the car, so I do not have a timeline on when the problem occurred. I suspect it's a ground issue on the passenger side, but I won't know until I take the switch out and test it and the wires.

    Issue resolved - I took apart the passenger side window switch, cleaned and sanded the contacts and put it back together. Life is good, again.
