    I have 25,000 on my 1986 328. I was quoted $6,000 for the 30,000 major service. Does this seem high? Can the service be perform by someone othe than a Ferrari dealer? I will be 5 years since the last service was done in 2 months. Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Seems high. Dealers in LA charge $4000 for the 3X8 majors.
