antenna went up...won't come down. Can hear the antenna motor working, but no movement. Any suggestions on how to fix or what to buy/where to buy it so it can be repaired? Thanks!!!!!

And you don't need to replace the whole unit. You can buy a new mast and install it in the unit, if the motor is working.

On the other hand, if you need to replace the unit and you are using the antenna switch in the console (not the automatic antenna option with your radio), pick up a Harada MQ-1. Should be able to find one at a reasonable price on the internet. I just bought one through Amazon.com. It is a direct replacement and works perfectly with the antenna switch setup in the 3x8 cars.

Yep... changed mine with a Harada MQ1 fifteen years ago when the original Bosch went out, and it has been working great ever since.

I took this route. I think it was a Nissan and I found it at Pep Boys. You need the teeth on the nylon & make sure the extensions are the same size.
