After some search, I finally found the right 208 GTB Turbo 1. Gen. The car where sold from Crepaldi, Milano in 1983 to a Doctor, the first owner had the car until 2015, where Mr. Mantovani (The author to the book "Ferrari - The Turbo 8 Cylinders) bought the car and took it home to Modena.. There he restored it, keeping as much as possible original, the car where in pretty good shape when he found it, so it where mainly the engine, undercarriage, electric and som minor bodywork that needed some attention. The car is in the rare Argento Silver, with Black leather and Ermenegildo Zegna inserts. All papers regarding the car is pressent and the seller has even offered me a genuine set of 3 piece Schedoni luggage "Turbo" to go with the car (aditional price) Can´t wait to receive the car by the end of this month.. That's a really nice looking unit! I really like the interior with the grey seat inserts, pure black can be pretty bland. This opens the interior up nicely! Happy Motoring!
Does the 208 Turbo have Catalytic converters? Noticed the extra grill work on the rear deck lid like a US 308.
That's for cooling only: 208 turbo (82-85) ha the splitted rear bumper, exactly like the two years later 288 GTO.
Dan, congrats for the purchase: that silver car even has one of the 59 only official Schedoni luggage set ever made for this model A great sample indeed, that will be ready for shipping within some days. I will miss it! Ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login
