    Hi All,

I recently bought @topcarbon yellow 308 with extensive engine mods. I should have in in a couple weeks. Francorchamps did most of the work in 2015. I have invoice copies and spoke with them today. I'm trying to find out what the engine was bored out to without removing the heads to find out. But the good folks at Francorchamps don't have details beyond the invoice which just stated it was bored and honed. It has P6 cams, 44DCOEs, ported and polished, mag's crank and on and on. But no details on what it was bored out to.

Not expecting much from this post, unless the VIN catches someone's eye who remembers.

Also, shout out to Andy Falbo (FMS) in AZ who was exceedingly helpful on the phone today. Hell of a nice guy.

    Hi All,

I've been doing more research on this cars history. Previous to Jason @topcarbon it was owned by Michael @355michael and some time before that, it was owned by Philip @pma1010

History is all coming together now, though I'll probably have to wait until I pull the heads to determine the actual bore.

Searching Philip's past posts from waay waay back, Philip did all the dry-sump mods to it. The work was pretty extensive and amazing. I'm not sure how it was converted back to WS, but was probably by FCI when it transferred from Michael's ownership. There's a wealth of information in @pma1010 posts. I'm not sure he's on here anymore as it's been a couple years since his last visit from what I can see.

@Rifledriver @bitsobrits this explains the WS/DS questions I had in another post, since it was referred to as a DS conversion, but there is no DS in it now. Thankfully, actually. As the conversion was definitely a one-off and maintaining it would be a PITA that I don't need right now.

I'm going to start a separate thread in the coming weeks to document my work on this car, as well as my findings.

(BTW, huuuge thanks to FChat for keeping all these old posts!)
