Thanks to all for all the info. Anybody have any ideas about replacement seat belt options for a 308? The retract spring on my driver's side belt has given up the ghost!
I have not found this to be the case with my 78 GTB. I bought one and it is far from plug and play due to the way it grounds through the opposing leads. My original grounds to the body.

Concerning part number searches and parts availability, I am in the process of building a very complete database of Ferrari parts. It will be on line and anyone can serach through it. It will be arranged as follows: 1st Column-car series: ex 355 2nd Column-car type: ex GTS, GTB, etc 3rd Column- Ferrari P/N 4th Column- Description Example: 355 spider 197654 oil filter In addition we will have the pictoral table (Tav) and the reference # for the part in the pictoral (Rif). Then the price It is taking some time to do this because it encompasses all models. It will be very easy to scan a particular model such as 355 or 375 or 360 etc., and it will include vintage models! We will also be able to fax or e-mail original Ferrari exploded drawings of particular parts, systems, etc. Keep in touch. You'll find it worth while and extremely complete.

These seem to be the "holy grail" of 308 parts. I had one person (very reputable, very reliable, VERY honest!!) track them down and managed to find some he was sure he could order. The price was a little steep though. I'm still looking but he may get my order shortly as I can't seem to find them anywhere! Can't even seem to find a good used set. Mine still work but the driver's side catches a lot and both belts are worn. If you find a good replacement let me know!!

The heater stopped heating on my 1984 Mondial QV due to fault in the Bosch electrovalve in right footwell under dash . The same Bosch part for 1984 BMW 528 was $28.00 versus $170 from Ferrari dealer .
Hi! I drive a Swiss Version 328 GTS. Can I use the cross ref. parts as well there? Or are they encoded differently? thx, STC
Just replaced both front marker lens bulbs. Stock is a GE158. Counldn't find it. I used the 168 instead. Works fine. Looks identical.
For cooler operation, brighter look, and lower current consumption, replace these incandescent side marker lamps with 6-LED type 194 bulbs. Order amber bulbs for the front and red bulbs for the rear. Can be ordered on line, among other places, at: http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm
