EFI system for sale: ITB's - Coil on Plug - Motec M48 with Ignition Expander and Motec SDL Dash

Older EFI system for sale - was on my Street/Track 308 car. EFI system was probably built in the early 2000's era (dates are hard to find with this car - spent a lot of it's life in Japan). Motec M48 with ignition expander. Ran Coil on Plugs (Denso P/N 90919-02240 - Not included). Cable driven throttle body system - Main throttle cable exited the firewall just below the rear window. Harness configured for ECU/Boxes to be mounted behind the rear passenger seat on the interior firewall. Set up for stock style Ferrari Flywheel CPS (12 pins on the flywheel).
    • Components include:
      • TWM Individual Throttle Bodies (ITB) Intake Manifold System
        • Fits 308/328 QV Engines.
        • Comes with throttle cables and pulley block (Rebuilt by Norwood in early '22)
        • Vacuum manifold plumbed (Not an input to M48 currently - see below)
        • ITB's rebuilt (as required) by Norwood in early '22
        • TPS (On 1 bank of ITB's)
      • Bosch Green Top injectors
        • Rebuilt/Reflowed in Summer of '21
      • Motec M48 & Ignition Expander
        • Unobtanium Motec Serial cable for computer interface included
        • Set up for Coil On Plug Ignition
      • Motec SDL dash
        • Non Backlit
      • Harnessing (as shown)
      • Assortment of sensors and additional gages
        • Including a good O2 Sensor (nearly )
      • Laptop to interface with Motec M48 is included (Not shown in pics)
        • Loaded with SDL layouts and Motec Tunes
        • Amazingly - it still has decent battery life
      • Misc pieces (as shown)
    • Reason for Removal
      • Full Disclosure - I was having drivability issues with this set up. My car is a tube chassis/panel car, and with the rear clamshell it was not the easiest thing to resync the ITB's. As as result, I upgraded to a modern DBW EFI system.
        • System will run/drive as is - but will run VERY rich, and will require frequent plug changes.
        • EFI system is currently set up for only RPM and TPS as inputs
          • Obviously this is less than desirable, however myself and the previous owner have run this set up for at least 12 years (not sure how long it ran in Japan this way). It will eat plugs though, especially if there is a lot of idling.
          • Norwood built a vacuum manifold system to integrate a MAP into the system. However I did not get to a tuner to get this loaded into the tune/program. Hardware for this upgrade exists and is included.
      • Biggest Issues & Recommended work for a new owner
        • Biggest issue with the driveability is the ITB's started to "micro-adjust" every time they hit the throttle stop, and would "close down," limiting the air into the system and eventually causing the system to run too rich and foul plugs.
          • Recommend new owner focus on "re-deforming" the Throttle adjustment threads on the ITB linkage, add a jam nut, or otherwise resolve this issue, such that the ITB's hold their settings better.
          • This "micro-adjustment" was a relatively recent development. I was already planning to remove the system, so did not focus on a fix.
        • Bosch Green Top Injectors
          • These are the older style high impedance injectors and they are just "too big" for the engine. Pulse width on these at idle is almost 0%, so controllability could be vastly improved with smaller injectors.
          • Recommend getting smaller/modern injectors when working with your tooner.
    • Other Items for New Owner to understand
      • NO air cleaner set up included
        • My car has run no air cleaner with this set up since at least 2012 with no issues. Ran as Street/Track.
      • Builders Kit
        • Sold as a "Builders Kit" (Not plug and play)
        • Most of the "big parts" are here, but you will need to supply missing components/sensors and fix some of the wires and hoses that had to be cut for removal, etc.
        • Harness was labeled upon removal from the vehicle, however there maybe some leads without labels present.
          • Harness wiring feels "OK" (IE - not brittle).
        • This came out of a Tube Chassis Panel car. You may need to do some work to integrate it into a street car.
    • Motec Data:
      • SDL (Dash)
        • S/N 18009-20158
          • Enabled
          • Not Backlit
      • M48 ECU
        • S/N 11002-03510
          • Enabled
          • Advanced Functions and Logging Enabled
          • Lambda Enabled
      • Ignition Expander Module
        • S/N 14001-01712
What you see in the pictures is what is included. Added a couple pictures of this system installed on my car so everyone gets an idea of the looks.

Parts located in Dallas Tx. Pickup preferred, but can ship at Buyers expense (will be 4-5 boxes to protect components).

    Asking Price 5500 OBO

Obviously pricing this system is difficult - some rare parts, some old parts, and definitely a niche market. I would prefer to sell as a set vs breaking apart, however ideal break would be to separate out the SDL dash from the rest of the system.
