Guys Thank you - I now can confirm that I have that set not sure if it is just for 308 or if it can fit inside a 328. I have all the outside covers and keys etc, it is very very well made - I have a slight scratch where the buckles has rubbed due to a transit company. Was wondering to price it up - in the current market - not personally used at all - Internally the set is like new. Though it must be a fairly old considering the age of the cars it was part of. Will take some pics and validate condition etc Thanks again for all you help. kindest regards
The set is the same for both models.... I paid $2,000 USD and would be interested in your set, if it is for sale. How did you come to acquire it? Where are you located? To be complete it should have leather key fob holders, the locks and the outer cloth protective bags with logo, sounds as if you have it all...
Dear BigTex, I am in London, I am extremely dissappointed to tell you that there is the ODD mark on it I will try to take pictures (badly bubble wrapped in transit), the two smaller cases are amazing for their ages. I love 308's and 328's and would be very nice for the set to be with someone who will really appreciate the full set even if not to use it. I am quite annoyed as I wish it was all impecable - I remember the keys and key fob. The leather is extremely strong quality, the internals have no flaking or decay etc as far as I can remember. Please give me a few days to post up pics so you can make a genuine assessment of condition - I would rather you be totally happy rather than me try and sell you anything which is not upto your standards etc. anything long distance can be an issue and I have never posted to the States such large Items + I would be very annoyed if you received them in bad condition due to packaging etc. Having said all that - it is nice to have a full set of Schedoni Luggage - I am a bit of a very small time collector of odd things and this will be the first time I am selling something I have bought - mainly due to non use. I also have the outside carriers, one of which not as good condition as the others, please bear in mind I am quite picky so will post up pics and await your feed back. kindest regards
I am sorry if this is the wrong place to post - if mods feel it should be moved please do so. This is quite old, but in very good condition for its age. Suitable for Ferrari 308 and I believe also for 328. Pics are really to show imperfections once as much as possible but once in your /Trunk/Boot you will be ready for Car Shows. It has keys, key holders, Vanity Case, Shoe Case, Shoe Slips x4, and two different grade Shoe Shines , Two Large Hold Alls all in Leather which is very very good quality - you can actually Smell Ferrari. It does have the the odd scuff and marks although none of it has been used internally. It has all the outer cover's also which are also good quality. Everything is Marked Schedoni - it really is quality. Worth a Hell of lot when first launched very unlikely to find such a set for a 308/328. There is rather a lot of Pics so prepare to wait for download. PM me on here - and I will Get back if you know someone interested or just want to further pics or enquiries. I have been very frank with the pics - I am very particular and by showing as much detail of imperfections as possible. Ordinarily this is to help you part with your money as I am not good at negotiation. Need to go as Taking up space in our small abode but having taken all those pics which do not really do the set justice it really is great if it is for 308/328 Owners, bought as a gift for my 456 some time ago. Thank you for posting pictures Aamir, that is indeed the correct set you have there, and minor use only, certainly normal for it's age.... I will see if one of my London friends is willing to handle the inspection and purchase for me.... We can no doubt package it safely to travel i have received parts from the UK before safely. There's fairly cheap shipping uk to usa from a website called www.parcel2go.com - they discount Fedex & DHL - rate today about 1.8675 so UK£ 1250 is about USD 2400
Does the current set from Ferrari include the cloth bags and key fobs? I've never seen pictures of those before.
A Complete set is all the items he describes....several leather key fobs, all the locks and keys and as he notes there's even slip covers for your lady's shoes! More to the point I do not know if the Factory sets currently are Schedoni a lot of the leather bags they sell elsewhere on the website are not....
The last time I went to the Owner's Site you could buy new Schedoni luggage for your car. The local dealer still has it listed in the parts catalog. But they said nothing about covers, fobs, etc. That luggage is my final Holy Grail for the 308. Once I get a new suspension, an interior respray, replace the ugly tweed material, maybe new brakes that is... Oh, and convince the wife. When she heard the price she gave me the "LOOK"!
Also there is the Schedoni Shoe Shines of differing grades, please check the pics. Actually I think I have under priced it (smiles). I would rather have someone collect/inspect on behalf or in person in all honesty. I would personally buy a Larger "cheaper" suitcase and put them in there if shipped. Was a present for the 456 http://spots.autogespot.com/eng/viewimages.php?id=c214748364803082008001701 , from my wife but she was wrongly advised that it was for our car. She did not get a bargain either, I do not want to disclose full figures, but it was less then the current selling price, hence I kept it until I thought the time was right to off load ps when did you pay for your initial set and was it a full set Cannot believe how active this forum is, credit to you guys. kind regards
That color on your 456 is BEAUTIFUL!!! One of mine is blue, the other red one is blue underneath, I am thinking of restoring it that color....(different blue).. Yea, we just hang around the internet chatting Ferraris all day! Didn't mean to pry at all...a shame she was misled but with such good intentions...there IS a set for the 456, maybe a post in that Section of our websote would yield results? Agent AntM has agreed to take the case, once she finishes her hectic workaday world in International High Finance.....I don't think she'll need the revolver though, we don't want to frighten Aamir's children!!! Try a search on "456 Schedoni Luggage, Aamir, IIRC it's only a three piece set, maybe two it should be less expensive. I bought my other set, slightly used also, about two years ago, Joe.....sadly with my troubles I have not used it as of yet....just adds to the storage problems in my Bachelor Pad Apartment! It was at a dealer who had sold the car but not gotten the $2K adder.......I know of one other Fchatter that has a set to sell..... as for your wife, forgiveness is easier than permission? I have a spare Cartier ring, she'd like......
