Does anyone have an electronic version of the 308QV US Spare Parts Catalogue that they could part with, barter with, sell to me?

I'm looking for Cat. #302/84, which is specific to the 84/85 US model 308.

I have the '83 version (March 1983 printed copy) in hard copy form, but own an '84 model car, and there are some differences, especially around the air and fuel injection TAVs.

I checked the web, and this forum.. It's been posted on a document sharing server in the past, but that had a 7 day expiration so it's no longer available.

This is for the spare parts manual - the book with all the exploded parts diagrams or "TAVs".

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Phil

    Thanks Mike.

So, not sure if that's an offer. You're on the West coast, I'm on the East. Can I reimburse you FedEx charges and you send it to me, I sit in Kinkos for a couple hours and make another copy, and overnight yours back to you?

Not sure how else we'd go about this.

The picture is of a Marparts copy - why not ask Ferrari Classic Parts in the UK (= Marparts) if they can still do the book ?

I made a couple of spiral bound copies for my use, and they are definitely handy to have. If you want one, I can have another made at Kinkos or Staples and mail it to you.... just PM me. It's the 1984 USA version you're looking for.

If you just need an immediate electronic reference, the 'parts catalog' at www.RicambiAmerica.com for our cars is available.

    Mike,

Thank you, PM on it's way.

I'm intimately familiar with Ricambi's site, however, the parts diagrams there, as well as other sources on the net, are specific to the Euro version of the car. You will note that your book probably contains a TAV for the Air Injection System (should show this as TAV #9, where online TAV 9 is Fuel Pump and Pipes), as well as your book should have an Evap System TAV, again where online this is something different.

I managed to get a Spare Parts book dated March 1983, however, this is specific to the '83 QV, and shows differences to the '84/'85 model cars.

    Thanks again,
    Phil

Most of the parts catalogs I've seen (including the Ricambi ones) are for *all* markets. You just have to look for the market indicator tags.

It's the wiring diagrams that are market specific.

After 10+ years of wrenching my 1984 308 with a 1983 book as a reference, I became frustrated.

Of course, one alternative solution to this dilemma would have been to swap the '84 car for an '83 model. :)

However, thanks to Mike C., I now have the book to match the car.

And thanks to Paul_308, I also have a wealth of other documentation on the car.

The moral of this story: Time and again, I find and can honestly say without hesitation that, no other brand automobile (or truck, bike, scooter, roller skate or slot car) that I have owned (and I owned a bunch), has the camaraderie amongst owners as our brand enjoys,
