After many years without AC, I installed the Retroair AC compressor. After installing all of the various components, I ran into a wiring problem.

I believe I have two AC pressure switches. One behind the brake master cylinder and one near the AC dryer. Please see photo.

The one behind the brake master cylinder has three electrical connections (1,2, 3). The one near the AC dryer has two electrical connections.

The wire feed has two wires (black & orange/black).

Does anyone know how to wire the AC pressure switches?

Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks

The one with the capillary tube that sits on the pedal box is high pressure cut-off (actually it measures temp, which is a function of pressure). The one that plugs straight in near the dryer is low pressure cut-off. They are wired in series - it's in your wiring diagram - but both are normally closed circuits, and go to open circuit when tripped. I removed mine completely and installed a trinary switch. Much neater.

Thanks for the info. The high pressure switch has three electrical connectors. Do you recall where each wire attaches to? Also, how did you install the trinity switch?

Don't recall the connections, but it'll be searchable. I removed the 4 way union and plugged the trinary switch directly into the spare port on the new receiver/dryer.

I was able to take a pic of the high pressure switch. As you can see, there are three spade connections on top of the pressure switch. The three spade connectors form a triangle.

I have 1 orange/black wire and 1 black wire per the wiring diagram.

Where does each wire attach to and why are there 3 connections for two wires?
