Sorry Kare. I haven't seen your reply!!! My fault! On the door jamb plate the date is "October 1983". In the Ferrari certificate "Original colours" that they sent to me the exact manufacture day is the "07/10/1983" 7th October -European data format-. I hope this help a little bit more on your great job. Sorry for the -big- delay. Cheers
Finally got under the car and under all of the oil and grunge is the transmission number: Ferrari 308GT4 15406 Engine # is F106AE *01882 Manufacture date December 1979 Tranny - F106AL 6168
Hi all, Please keep adding 308 numbers, this project is slowly taking us somewhere! Thanks for the latest additions. Dino numbers don't help this project as they don't seem to use assembly numbers like the GTB & GTS, but I still collect Dino serials and engine numbers separately. One really interesting thing is that I saw a 348 TS in Italy that besides having the modern assembly number plate in engine compartment, did have an old fashioned 308 style assembly number stamped nearby. I attach a pic... My file with latest additions: http://koti.welho.com/kpietil4/308.htm Best wishes, Kare PS. and no need to be sorry Magnum, this thing moves slowly by nature so a delay of a few months here or there won't do much damage. Thanks a millioin! Added this too to my file. There is another thread at: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=176780 Maybe this one should be locked? Best wishes, Kare
One typo, 8KRedRacer's 308 and my 308 keep getting mixed up. This is the second time that I have seen this happen. 8KRedRacer's 308 is 30239 with a build number of 938A while my 308 is 30329 with a build number of 950A. On your list you have my VIN with 8KRedRacer's build number. The good news is that you can add one more to the list!
Finally got under the car and under all of the oil and grunge is the transmission number: Ferrari 308GT4 15406 Engine # is F106AE *01882 Manufacture date December 1979 Tranny - F106AL 6168 thats not the assembly number look on your headlight bucket my 75 GT4 is 410

Hey Kare: Bringing this topic back to life again. 83 308 GTB QV, UK RHD VIN: ZFFLA12C000043413 Engine: F105A 00316 Production: 2 Sep 1982 Assembly: 6 Looks like the first entry of Euro RHD GTB QV?
It's been a while. Added these two and a spot of my own. It grows slowly but it grows! Keep em coming! http://koti.welho.com/kpietil4/308.htm Best wishes, Kare PS. I wonder if this should be moved (back?) to 308/328 section, as it is all about 308, not very technical and might catch best audience there...
My 1985 QV GTS U.S.A. LHD Bianco over Bordeaux March 1985 build date ZFFUA13A9F00 56859 Assembly # 447
Just updated Tifosi2011's car and a 308 GTS I saw in Padua. http://koti.welho.com/kpietil4/308.htm PS. I still wonder if this should be moved (back?) to 308/328 section, as it is all about 308, not very technical and might catch best audience there...
Kare, can you post here the specific updates you make to your site? This way those of us following your work can note the specific changes rather than combing through everything just to find the new additions. I agree, I think it should be moved back to the 308/328 section - or perhaps it can go there, and there can be a sticky link in Technical Q&A leading to the thread in the 308/328 section.
Yes. This belongs in the 308/328 section. I've subscribed to this thread so I know where it is. Thank you again, Kare, for your updated lists. Barry
