Has anyone else noticed that there are TWO different types of bleed screws for the the 308 Radiators? I learned about this when I ordered a bleed screw from T. Rutland's and the thing would not screw the whole way in. I called in and after a lot of back in forth they told me that the QVs have a shorter bleed screw even though they have only one part number listed. They said the way to may the distinction is the radiators with the separating bar down the middle. None of the other vendors I have spoken to have a clue about it. I had Peter Sweeney from Forza Motor Sports send me some photos of QV bleed screws he has and they were all the shorter ones. Anyone else ever heard of this?

P.S. Does anyone know of an OEM 308 A/C compressor for sale? (Functional or not)

Buy the York, paint it silver and you've got a 99% OEM AC compressor. Of course, it's not the correct clutch/pully.

I have a OEM 308 A/C compressor with the OEM Aspera Clutch on it. I will sell it cheap if you want it. PM me. The clutches are almost impossible to find from what I have been told.

I have a QV and ordered the bleed screw from T. Rutlands. As you said- it was too long. I just cut off the extra length and made sure the bleed hole down the center and side still worked and all is well. I think it costs $20 or so?

When my thumbscrew broke i just went to Home Depot and found a black metric screw with proper thread and it had Allen Head. Cut to length with Dremil and then simply use an aluminum washer. i think i paid $3 total. Hope this helps someone and REMEMBER the washer as this seals the screw.
