I am in the midst of separating my 308 (2v 1976 Vetroresina) engine block and transaxle.
I had read on a thread earlier of 20 bolts holding the units together.
    I have only found 19.....
Is there one "hiding " on me or was the 20 number someone's estimate?
Neither the OWM or Parts Diagrams are much help so I'm asking "One who has gone before"
    Thanks in advance, Bill

I’m going off memory here, but I believe one of the nuts is located inside the transaxle itself somewhere along the perimeter of the mating surfaces.

Once the bellhousing and adapter plate is off there's one nut dangling above the spinning gears in your gearbox :)
