    Favor to ask:

Does anybody happen to have a 308 brake master cylinder laying around? If so, could you trace the mount bracket, with holes marked, and contact me to fax it?

I've replaced all my stock calipers and rotors w/ larger Wilwood calipers. I now have a long brake pedal and will need to replace my OEM master cylinder with a larger-bore one.

Wilwood has one that will probably work, but it won't be a direct mount; I'll have to fabricate an adapter bracket. They've asked for me to send them the mount specs.

I'm hoping I can find somebody that will draw the mount template and fax it to me. Otherwise, I'm going to have to remove mine, which I'm trying to avoid right now..... If possible, please indicate the thickness of the base plate also. I need to determine how I'm going to mount the new one. BTW, does anybody know the bore of the OEM master cylinder?

Alternatively, can anybody confirm that old German (Mercedes/BMW) MCs fit 308s? I've also heard that Dodge van MCs (!!??) fit the 308. Any specific model year? I need more bore than stock. BTW, does anybody know the bore of the OEM master cylinder?
Wilwood thinks I need the 1 1/8" bore MC.

And yes, I've given up my parking brake. Bummer! Hopefully, I'll find a solution to that also, soon!

    Wil,

Glad to see you back online. How did you fair with the Delaware River flooding in your area? We were thinking about you as we watched the news.

    Hey paul,

Yeah, I don't get on here as often as I would like. Only so many hours in a day. Once in a while, late at night, to unwind before going to bed, I come on here and find some really fascinating topics being discussed. I often don't comment though.

Yeah, some people in the area and in town here got hit really badly by the river flooding but we made out OK. Thanks for your concern.

    Regards,

    Wil
