I've read that the rear calipers for a 308 are the same as the 914-6. So which kit do I buy?
    Thanks,
    Steve

I used a 78-84 911 38MM rebuild kit I got from my local foreign auto parts store. $20 for both rear brakes. I did not rebuild the handbrake unit.

Alfa Romeo Alfasud front brakes are also similar, though the handbrake lever sit in another position. The rebuild kits for the pistons are the same however. Of course only 0.1 % of Alfasuds have survived so they are more rare than 911 or even 308 today.

I'm sure if you ask for a rebuild kit for a certain model/year weather they have it or not as long as they normally stock it, they can tell you the part number over the phone.
