A quick question that I don't think has been addressed before:

The washers used under the cam bearing cap nuts, are they Belleville type?

It looked like it to me, but I thought I'd ask to make sure. Thanks, I appreciate it...

    Belleville washer = conical spring washer = a.k.a., disk springs = a volcano-shaped washer:

Is a different name more commonly used for these in your part of the planet?

No real surprise there -- if you've got a washer named after you (and how cool is that!), you're pretty darn famous ;)

    Here's the Wiki link:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belleville_washer (Although I'm a little surprised it doesn't give some historical background on the name -- whether it's for a specific person or maybe from a region where it first originated.)

Does anyone have a 'correct' source for the washers in this application? I am missing three of them, (some were replaced with a non-BelleVille Washer in a previous 30K service 'attempt' by an amateur - don't get me started).

I took-down the inner and outer diameter measurements, but I didn't take any other measurements. Seems that these washers are sold based on other parameters that I do not have : Cone Height, Thickness, and Force.

Help! Which ones do I buy?

    Sure and why guess...?
Any Dealer will have them, although the PN has been superceeded many times. Around 22 cents each.
