    Hi there!

Could someone inform the original measurements of the 308, idle and main jet carburetors, etc ? My car is good in high rotation but very weak in idle speed.

The 308 carb internal components varied with year and version. The OM for a given year/version gives the stock specifications (but there was obviously some "learning" along the way). If you search on something like "emulsion tubes" (and investigate those) that should get you a lot of previous discussion.

As Steve said, your year and version will affect the correct jetting. What cams do you have and have you done a compression test? It might be weak compression or your ignition timing and not your carbs. If you test your exhaust gas and/or look at your plugs it will give a clue.

I have read that most carb issues turn out to be ignition related....and most ignition issues turn out to be carb related!
