I just ordered a K&N filter for the 308 but then had a brief thought about putting it on hold for the above. So, the question is, does anyone make a true CAI for the 308? I've come over from the BMW world where you find them all over the place. But, I haven't seen any for older Ferraris. Oh, and I mean a true CAI with a box to block out the hot air from the engine compartment... NE1 know about these?

    Thanks,

    Joe

Not that I know of. Maybe Nick Scianna can come up with something. I have the K&N filter on my 308 as well. I don't know if anything can work with our particular CIS system. I'd be interested in knowing more.

With the inlet being on the side of the car do you really need one? Perhaps just a heat sheid between air box and engine compartment.

Sounds like what I am looking for in a CAI. (Forgot the intake was on that side, duh). Plus less restriction in the filter/box. I hate having to reinvent the wheel if I don't have to though. What was/is used on the 308s that race?
