While redoing my dash and cleaning up the harness routing, I had Verell rebuild my column stalk switches. One added problem discovered was cracks in the housing where it clamps to the steering column. Verell recommended drilling holes at the end of the cracks which I filled in with crazy glue. At the bolt hole I fashioned a "staple" out of some stainless steel welding rod (1/16" dia) and inserted it across the crack area. I then filled the area in with JB weld. We'll see if it holds up over time.
