I was wrong about them bleeding the system. After it overheated yesterday in Bellevue I called the mechanic and he said, "Actually I didn't bleed it!" So I'll do it myself. Hope that really fixes the problem. I'm tired of leaking all my new coolant out on every outing. One thing I see is the thread on the header tank is stripped on one side so it doesn't lock at the tightest point. I have to back it off a bit to find a tight spot. Is there any way to fix this without a new tank. Its just the lip of the thread is stripped. Maybe this is why it overheats if it can't pressurize sometimes.
