308 cylinder head proble

dear friends,

i have a 308gt4 and try tro rebuild my engine.
it seems the heads are glued to teh studs. just can´t get them off.
i have tried heat, etc. do you have any idea if there is a trick or special pulley ?

Add a long breaker bar, and then use a rubber mallet.

 

Do a search, this is a fairly common problem. Some people have managed to get them off easily, some have taken days and needed to manufacture head pullers.

i hammerd long time after heating block. not a micrometer...

thanks for the link. i´ll build a puller on head studs and will use aerokroil.
