    Can anyone confirm that in 1975, a 308 Dino GT4 (s/n 10426) was built with a "Boxer" front end? If so, does anyone have a photo and details of why this strange combination came to be?

    If this "Boxer" GT4 is metallic blue, then it was converted by Gary Bobileff (San Diego) in the early 90's. It had alot of bodywork done to it, mostly in the rear tailight section. The taillight section was recessed further inwards and the round tailights were installed instead of the rectangular GT4 tailights. The front grill and nose section were modified also to look exactly like a boxer. Whatever floats that owners boat I guess.

    How interesting!
    Sounds like what the original Mondial 8 was going to be designed to look like in 1978/1979 before Pininfarina (Fioravanti) talked Ferrari into the wheelbase extension.
    Would also love to see a picture.
