308 engine number location?

    I´m looking for the engine number on my -85 308, but cant find it. I would expect it to be printed somewhere on the engine block. Does anybode know where to look for it? Maybe a picture?

    On the top of the block right where the water pump seals to it. You can see it from above no problem. The gearbox number is down on the bottom right corner near the motor mount if you want that number too.
