Yep 550 wheels, no relocating of the rear shocks. I'm not that daring as Mark. :)

Chris, hook up your laptop and do some data capturing - might as well take advantage of the tools you already have. Start with monitoring the A/F, RPMS, Ignition, and the EGO, if activated. That should give you a good starting point.

No Todd not that easy. :)

To make them fit, the rear wheels where narrowed 1" and I have QA-1 shocks too. The fronts have spacers also.

That's why I'm talking to Wade about using an ECU with "traction control." LOL

    LOL

Others have said it seemed the factory mounted the exhaust hangers where ever they were needed to line up the exhaust.

Wade told me he only likes to take one 308 apart at a time because of the differences in spacers, shims, etc.

    New air/fuel gauge install.

Don't mind the numbers I was just checking to see if it works.

I need to get the 308 running good soon cause I'm going to a BQ next month. We don't need people pointing and talking about her back firing when we pull in. :)

Show us installed pics! And the install process!

    Isn't a deadline a great motivator?

    Yes it is.
But if I tackle this install, knowing me, I won't make the deadline.

nice grab on the wideband O2 sensor and gauge. i live by mine!! and my trusty pyrometer.

one of these days i will turn on the feedback circuit with the O2 sensor, and let the ECU figure it out..

John, that's a nice spot for it. I was wondering if it will fit where the clock is.

I'm going to have to wait on that though. No more taking her apart.

I just want to drive her for the summer. :)

You guys know I did all this work.

Engine out. Rebuild motor. Rebuild tranny. Took the wiring out in the rear that handled the engine management. Modified a lot out items. Soldered wires and ends. Made my own spark plugs wires. Attached crank sensor, cam sensor, map sensors. Wired throttle bodies. Had custom made parts made. Etc, etc.

So last night I had one last detail of the puzzle to connect. The rear antenna. I was getting tired of looking at that hole.

So I plugged it in, adjusted the antenna to be straight. Sorry, i don't like the angle look.

Got in the car, turned the key and..............

I can only imagine ... I've had a piece of duct tape on the inside of that hole since I repainted my car ... remove the antennae and give that a try ... my cars been rock solid except for head gaskets :) ...

but seriousrly ... hope u can find whatever is grinding ur gears ... simple as dead battery maybe? ... cheers

The battery was dead.. the "straight" antenna let all the smoke out of the wiring.. the key broke off.. you woke up and it was only a dream and Bobby is still alive???
