What does the engine and transmission weigh?
Interseting question, it really depends on what's included in the "total weight" of the engine - do you include all the ancillaries, clutch, flywheel, injection system etc? For example the last two engines we imported weighed 190, and 200kg. Whereas the last two gearboxes both weighed the same at 83kg each.
Weight as in removing the unit from the car, so most perphial parts would be removed but not the clutch etc. Thanks for the info
