My '85 QV is finally to my liking but the front spoiler is american and short to the point it reveals the tray under the front bonnet. Anybody out in this forum has ever installed one of these fiberglass Euro spoiler at $700. Difficult to install? Happy with the results? Is it a DIY or body repair required? Thanks for opinion!

    Hello from Germany,

the deep front spoiler is not specifically US or Euro. You could also order a Euro-car with the small one. Better said; the small one was stock on the Euro-cars and the deep ones an option.
Once painted it's a straightforward DIY job.
I have it on my car since my whole ownership, but on bumpy roads it's sometimes a problem.
So keep cool, if you sometimes hear bad scraping noises :) These are VERY sturdy and robust. But beware of high kerbs.

    Best Regards

    Martin

sorry guys i have been busy, and i did not remember to check this thread until now. someone in Atlanta PMD me about the valance, so i will give him until sunday to give me an answer. after that i will go down the list.

price is $700.00 and i will pay 1/2 the shipping (48 states). its new, not drilled or fitted and still had the cardboard on it. i think it was in a big box, which i dont have, so it will need to be boxed if its not sold face to face.

    reaper :)

I'll take any short ones that come off, as a spare....help defray the cost of Carrreaper's..........

Is yours metal or plastic, the short opne? I have seen both types....

I think all the deep ones are fibreglass.......
