That is a beautiful car, well worth the $30k reserve price. As far as the
grill goes, you might try a good machine shop. They could use your old
grill for the dimensions. You might phone or email Tillack & Co. I spoke
to Steve a couple of years ago when looking for a 308 and he was very
helpful. They had the ebay car in inventory at that time and if I recall
    it was around $40k.

Guess I read the ebay ad wrong, was pretty longwinded. incredible grill though, makes car look better.. i'll look him up, my front bumper is cracking and I'd ratrher invest in a nice grill.
    Thanks

a grill like that is not that hard to make. I made a similar custom grill for my car and it turned out pretty good. The hard part is getting the long slats curved...I did mine with a mallet but a roller would have been way faster. It's a GTO valance, but I wanted the 308 look, not the GTO driving lights

I am a big fan of originality, but have to admit that this front end is cool!
Btw, check out page 73 of Wallace Wyss' Complete guide to the 308 series, it shows a 308 with the same grille developed by Joe Alphabet from Huntington Beach. Also on page 68 two similar noses, one of which was designed by Sheehan.
