    I'm about order reproduction five spokes from Supperperformance to replace my metric rims. Will 16x8 fit in front? If so what tire sixe should use?

    Superformance sells these as sets of two 16x8 for the rear and 16x7 for the front. 16x8's will be too wide for the front, I seem to recall that the OEM 16's were also supplied in the same configuration. FWIW, I have their wheels on my GTSi and am very happy with them.

    The factory tire sizing for the 16" wheels (7" in front, 8" in rear) was fronts at 205/55-16, rears at 225/50-16. Check Tire Rack for tires available in those combinations, they show a bunch - just choose by car, pick an 83 to 85 308 QV, with optional 16" wheel size, then it shows the correct staggered sizing needed.

    I also have a set of the superformance wheels on my 81 GTSi fitted with pirelli p7’s in the above sizes 205/55/16 and 225/50/16 and have been very happy with them

    When I was using my original QV 16s I was running 225/50/16 on the front and 235/50/16 on the rear without any problem.

    I also have the Superformance 16 rims.
