Okay, given up on the search engine (man you get some odd results some times ...)

Decided one of the jobs this winter is to replace ALL of my rubber fuel hose. Some of the larger bits (e.g. filler) are looking decidedly old, so better safe than sorry, eh ?

Looking on ***'s site, they do all the hoses, and obviously the "odd" sized stuff I'll get from them, but some of the generic stuff works out quite expensive when you're paying per ickle short length, and there's lots of ickle short lengths !

Anyone know of a source where I can buy by the metre ? And, more to the point, anyknow know what the inside / outside diameters are and what spec it is ? Looking at it I think there's two main sizes used on the car (?)

    Cheers !

    Nevil,

I had a couple of split fuel lines a couple of months back on my 308. QV London replaced them but they did not come cheap. I think the parts were £150 or so. Give Mike a call and he may be able to help (http://www.hamletcg.co.uk/qv/qvimenu.htm)

    Cheers

philip, you may find the QV employs a high pressure hose to the fuel lines.

    edit:
sorry nev .... the company is Hose Direct Ltd ... speak to Paul:

BTW Just looked at my bill, the hoses (which are high pressure as it was the ones that run up to the injectors) were about £80 in parts not £150.

I should have thought more before posting. The carb fuel lines are entirely different to the injection models !
