I'm looking for the nice Ferrari gas cap (Silver with Ferrari written on it). I know that Ricambi used to sell it, but I can't seem to find it on their webpage. Does anyone else sell one?

There is one for sale on ebay, used, but with about 30 min to go, the price is already at $50, and I think a new one was around $70. For that kind of money, I'd rather get a new one.

    Thanks,

Evans Auto sells them. You can usually find them on Ebay. I called them direct and ordered one for my GT4. It looks and fits beautifully!!!! A little salty at $89, but its billet and the engraving is gorgeous. :)

From memory Daniel had issues with them for guys using them on 355's,,but for the 308's no problems at all...I had one for the GT4 as well as the 328 and I got them both from Dan the man...also got the oil filler capcover which really compliments the engine bay I think...

I bought one for my 328 GTB to replace my original black plastic one.

Upon receiving it , I replaced it and went for a spin. On the way back home I stopped to fill up car, put money in the automated fuel machine, grabed filler hose and couldn't open the fuel tank. The tap was stiff as hell. Funny thing is that several people where admiring my 328, and I felt really pissed off and humiliated.

I simply placed back the fuel refueling hose, sat in my baby and drove off. The following day went back to fill baby up but with the original plastic tap instead of the silver one, which I managed to remove later on that shameful day.

Just ordered one from Evans! Thanks for the link.

Yeah, the price is pretty steep, but it's going to be a gift from the wife for Christmas.

    Thanks,
    Dom

That is great! Mine was a birthday present from my wife to me.

It WILL be hard to remove if you crank down on it, be warned! There is a rubber gasket in there.

Yeah, I know. Just a couple weeks ago at an autocross, one of our other Fchatters, Jet-X had a cap on his 456 that was stuck. He got it off, so we put a little bit of lube on it, hopefully that will help.

    Can't wait until Christmas.
