matt can you let us know the price for the tool and price for the silent block??
well, if you think your rod bushes will improve shifting, you should also replace all your engine mounts, as engine roll during cornering can be dramatic with squidgy old mounts.
Ria, All of the information is on my web site: www.durable1.com. And Phil, I couldn't agree with you more on the motor mount issue! It is a tough line to walk as a manufacturer, to design mounts that are firm enough to keep the drivetrain in place, without transmitting more noise and vibration to the rest of the car. As they get older, and the rubber inside deteriorates due to age, exposure to oil, etc certainly doesnt help a bit! I have run into them so bad (as I am sure you have as well) that the bolt spun inside the rubber when attempting to remove them. When it gets to that point, the mounts ar not holding much but the weight of the drive train. I do find that the adjustable reaction rods we offer do help tremendously in keeping it in place on a fore and aft relationship, which improves shifting by keeping the movement down to a minimum. And they simply just look great when you open the bonnet! Kermit
