    Hello,
On my GT4 someone mounted a horrible rear spoiler which I removed immediately. The holes will need to be repaired, so I’m planning on taking the aluminum lid and having it fixed and repainted. I want to return the correct mounting holes for the Dino 308 GT4 badge which was also missing. I have located two holes pretty much in the rounded corners of the trunk lid frame. Can someone with a proper original rear trunk lid and badge verify that these are the original holes for mounting the badge. I’ve pointed out the filled holes with some blue painters tape. Hopefully these photos will give enough orientation. Keep in mind I removed the license plate light mounting housing, so it may appear different on your complete car. Thanks for any help you can provide.

As an aside note, the car was reportedly painted in FER300 Rosso Corsa paint. I would assume that the correct formulation for the 75 Dino was a glasurit single stage paint. For matching purposes were there multiple variations of FER300? Thanks

Definitely the correct holes. Not sure if this helps or not, but I took a caliper to them - from center to center I measured 102.14mm.

Absolutely that helps Chris. Thanks so much for the accurate measurement. Now don’t loosen your carpet corners, I know how much time you put into getting them affixed perfectly! Cheers Steve

I was able to drill out the body filler in the holes, and the measurement is right about 103mm, so I’m very comfortable that those were the original holes. Thanks for everyone’s help. Now if I can just find a reasonable badge!

I am pretty sure that all GT4s were originally painted wiith Glidden Salchi Eurolac. Ferrari didn't move to Glasurit paint until the early 1980s, after GT4 production had finished.

    This is worth reading https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/glidden-salchi-eurolac-questions.56740/
