    On a twin distributor 308 gt4 are the distributor caps the same part number left and right ?

    The caps, unless cracked are rebuildable.

    You replace the contact points and center contact with spring, and off you go.

    new ones complete are like $300 each!!!

    Never considered rebuild. Where do you find contacts and carbon button?

    Superformance has new production distributor caps for £85 each, part number is 30817005.

    The centre contact and spring in the Superformance and Eurospares ones are not as good as the original, well not in the one they supplied me, in fact the whole thing may be made in China.
    Rebuild the original if you can.
    Where can you get these bits from?
