I'm just getting my 75 308 GT4 out of moth balls for the winter and I have a couple of isues I need some advice with. I've tried searching the archives but not had much luck finding what I'm looking for.

    1) my wipers have stopped working - they got very wet last year (it rains alot in the UK.... ) and I need to know where to start looking. The manual isn't much help.

    2) My headlights have never been able to flah main beam - is this correct or do I have another problem.

BTW I'm just about to order birdmans fuse box upgrade.

    Thanks. Mick.

1 & 2 might be related if your (irreplaceable) column switch assembly is worn out

Having said that 1 could be seized mechanism and/or motor

Do your washers work off the stalk ?

And/or I think there's a relay so if its the same as one of the others check it by swopping

I can't find anything that looks like a relay. Any ideas?

Also I was thinking of taking the motor and arms off just tomake sure. Has anyone done this before - I don't see an easy way of getting in.

    Wiper problems...
I dont know if you have the same fuse-box as my mondial (see picture). In the middle there is a plastic sticking out with "wiper timer" marked. This relay you can open and clean the contacts with very fine sandpaper. Also see if the bi-metal works normaly.
    Hopefully you find the problemmakers.

GT4 relays are in the passenger footwell area.

Thanks Gents, with the fine weather I've managed to check the circuits and there is power going to the motor but the motor isn't moving.

Doe anyone know how to take the motor out? There's not much room and I'm concerned if it come out i might not be able to get it back in. Any advise is gratefully received.
