Hi all, I found a post here from 2014 talking about exhaust smells in our cars but it didn't offer any fixes to it. I have found that my car's exhaust fumes consume the cabin if I don't have a window open. It's to the point that I felt light headed on a recent long drive. Provided I keep the windows open, it is manageable. It's just had it's major service, there was nothing indicating any issue with the carbs/tuning. My US car does not have the roof vents of the euro cars. Any comments if this is normal? Excessive? Possible areas to look at to reduce the fumes? Thanks, Jeff
So it’s exhaust fumes, not petrol? Just that you mentioned your carbs... I would run the engine and carefully look for leaks - usual tricks. Surprised exhaust gets into. Bin that much without being visible. Again, more suspicious of tank leaks and fuel vapours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That’s what I’m thinking. The petrol smells certainly get your eyes and head. Obviously v dangerous as also explosive... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not sure if this is the thread you saw, but if not, review this as it does have guidance in it: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/gas-smell-in-the-cabin-of-a-308-gt4.526006/
