    I recently read in one of the original Road and Track articles about the 308 GT4 that the car came standard with 2 speakers, but had a 6 speaker option that included an external amplifier.

    Does anyone have any pictures or information about such a system? The original manual only has schematics for a 2 speaker system as far as I can tell.

    I've been finding inaccurate and conflicting information in some of the articles I've got (for instance, one article I found spends half the time praising the 308 GT4's "95 inch wheelbase" when it is actually 100.4").

    Does anyone have a GT4 with more than 2 speakers?

    I have a 4 speaker sysem fitted to mine. Rear speakers are fitted just above the rear arm rest/ front seatbelt mouting points. I punched the leather out to match the front door mounted ones. Sorry no photo as not got digi camera.

    Chris,

    No GT/4, or anything for that matter up to the 355 came with a radio from the factory. They were always dealer fitted accessories. The cars did come with an antenna and associated wiring but not the radio.

    my euro model '74 308 GT4 is as original as they come. only has 2 speakers.
