I would like to know the following from my fellow 308 GT4 owners. Oil Pressure Gauge: What does it read for you at idle? And what does it read under full load? Oil temp Gauge: What is range your car runs at on the oil temp gauge? How high, how low??? thanks! Serg
my 308s ran no hotter than 210 on the oil temp guage, around 180f temp wise for coolant and the oil pressure guages suck in the cars. 10 psi per 1000rpm is the standard. i would check to make sure the pressure regulator for the oil is ok and not gummed up. they are adjustable on the 4re's, but i dont know how to do anything with one. my pressures would read "around" 0 to 10 on all 3 cars when fully warmed up when i drove them hard. tapping on the oil pressure guage made them go up. all three cars testes over 20psi with a mechanical guage, but i only did the mech. guage at idle rpm as i was afraid the pressure would blow off the line on my mech. tester guage. in other words i dod not drive it or put a load on it with the mech guage, i just checked to make sure i had good idle PSI.
