Having designed, and built - a custom cage (welded professionally to meet regs as although I can weld a bit, not to high enough std for scrutineers ! I welded a bar across the top of the cage from left to right, then moulded an aluminium bearer into the flip rear, - mated the two with adjustable rose joints. - sorry to pics of detail but this may just show the legs which protrude to the brace bar - look top of rear panel at very top- if you need a sketch, PM me your email and I'll draw it up for you / send across.
